The Midwest Center for Joint Replacement booklet describes every detail – beginning to end – instructions, exercises before and after surgery and even how to sleep safely and comfortably. I greatly appreciate the kindness of all staff members from clerical staff to surgeons.

I was very satisfied with my results. Dr. Berend answered all my questions and gave me possibilities to help with my minor aches and pains. My x-rays were helpful in reassuring me that my partial knee replacement was still in excellent shape.

From opening the door everyone their was wonderful receptionist – the lady that took my x-rays – the gentleman that went over my paperwork – to Dr. Carter. He was professional in every way – made sure while looking at the x-rays I understood what I was looking at. Everyone is very nice and friendly

Always a great experience with Dr. Carter. He is thorough in explaining what new reports indicate and provides insight into his thinking. He gives you options and explains what to expect. He is a conservative diagnostician and wants to be sure your situation requires treatment before recommending joint replacement. He is friendly and compassionate. I have had one hip replacement done by him and now need the other to be done. I chose to return to Dr. Carter for the second procedure. The staff is also friendly and attentive. Overall, an excellent experience!
