At Midwest Center for Joint Replacement, we are dedicated to serving others and giving our resources to those in need, both locally and globally. Our team enjoys giving back their time and talents to support organizations around the world.
Medical Missions:
Operation Walk Midwest
The MCJR team participates in the not-for-profit medical missions group, Operation Walk, annually.
Once a year, members from our surgical team travel to a developing country for a week to provide free surgical treatment for those in need. Nationally, Operation Walk has reached hundreds of patients in other countries around the world. These include Russia, Nepal, China, Cuba, Peru, Mexico, and the Philippines. OpWalk also works within the United States to provide free joint replacements.
Our surgeons often participate with OpWalk in Guatemala and Nicaragua, as well as the United States. They view these experiences as some of the most fulfilling weeks of their lives.
Supporting our Community
We are dedicated to promoting healthy living, community action, and medical research. We do this by sponsoring local events, community foundations, as well as charitable endeavors around Indiana and the United States.
